इस कहानी में सुरेश नामक एक लड़का है जो इस कहानी का हीरो है।
सुरेश मुखर्जी एक कॉलेज स्टूडेंट है जो सिर्फ पढ़ाई से मतलब रखता हैं।ना किसी ग्रुप में रहता था ना बेफिजूल की मस्ती करता।वो उसके क्लास का टॉपर था।सभी तरफ उसकी एक बहुत अच्छी इमेज थी।उसके मॉ-बाप भी उसपे बहुत गर्व महसूस करते थे।सब लड़को की तरह उसको भी खेल-कूद और मस्ती करने का शौक था।
लेकिन वो अपने करियर से कॉम्प्रोमाइज नहीं करना चाहता था।उसकी यही एक प्रॉब्लम थी, कि वो किसी से बहुत जल्द फ्रैंक नहीं होता था।इसी बीच एक बात थी जिसके वजह से वो उदास नहीं रहता था।उसकी वजह ये थी कि वो एक स्ट्रेट फॉरवर्ड इंसान था। उसे कोई फ़र्क नहीं पड़ता था कि वो किसीसे इतना ज्यादा फ्रेंडली नहीं हो पाता।
उसको लगता था कि बारिश उसकी बेस्ट फ्रेंड है यूनिक फ्रेंड,उसको ऐसा लगता जैसे वो दिल खोल के उसके हर सीक्रेट शेयर कर सकता है।इसी कारण सुरेश बारिश के निर्मल बूंदों से अपने दिल की बात बता देता चाहे वो अच्छी हो या बुरी हो।और ऐसी थी सुरेश कि लाइफ।
सुरेश को लड़कियों से ज्यादा लगाव नहीं था। हालांकि टॉपर होने के कारण सब लड़कियां उसको जानती पहचानती।उसके क्लास के लड़के उससे बहुत जलते क्योंकि लड़कियों में हमेशा सुरेश कि बातें होती रहती।लेकिन सुरेश ऐसी बातों का कभी फायदा नहीं उठाता था।जैसे हर इंसान को अपने लाइफपार्टनर का इंतेज़ार होता है वैसे ही सुरेश को उसके पार्टनर कैसा होगा इसकी क्यूरोसिटी थी।उसके कुछ एक्सपेक्टेशंस थे जैसे उस लड़की को बारिश पसंद हो जैसे सुरेश को है।वो लड़की बहुत चुलबुली हो,हमेशा हंसती रहती हो।उसको कभी अकेला छोडके जाने वाली ना हो।
जैसे ही बारिश आई वो टेंशन भरी लड़की अचानक बारिश के मजे लेने लगी।सुरेश को ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे उसके सारे टेंशन मानो बारिश के बूंदों में धूल गए हो।सभी लोग बारिश से भीगने के डर से इधर उधर भागने लगे।लेकिन वो लड़की ऐसे बारिश में भीग रही हो जैसे सालो से बरसात ना हुई हो।सुरेश को महसूस हुआ कि वो लड़की बिल्कुल उसके जैसी है।उसको अजीब लगा उस लड़की के बरताव का,कि क्या कोई लड़की ऐसी भी हो सकती है?
बारिश ख़तम होते ही सुरेश ने उस लड़की से बात की, कि ये क्या था जो उसने किया।रोते रोते हंस देना जैसी बात हुई।तो उस लड़की ने उसको पहले तो इग्नोर किया ।लेकिन जब उस लड़की को पता चला उसके फ्रेंड्स से कि सुरेश उसका सीनियर है और टॉपर भी उस लड़की ने सुरेश से माफी मांगी और बताया कि उसको बारिश बहुत पसंद है बरसात आते ही उसका मन खुश हो जाता है।
ऐसे ही दिन गुजरते गए और बिंदु सुरेश में दोस्ती हो गई। सुरेश को पता चला कि बिंदु एक अनाथ लड़की है तो सुरेश को बिंदु के लिए बुरा लगा।वो दोनो एकदूसरे से बहुत घुल मिल गए,वो दोनो एक दूसरे को हमेशा अपनी लाइफ कि अच्छी बुरी यादें बताने लगे।बिंदु बहुत ज्यादा बातें करने वाली लडकी थी।हमेशा मुस्कुराते रहना हर मुश्किल का सामना हंसते हंसते करना ये सारी बाते सुरेश को अच्छी लगने लगी थी।
बिंदु अनाथ होने कि वजह से हमेशा अकेली रही है और उसको कभी किसी से अपने सुख दुःख कि बातें नहीं कि थी।बिंदु और सुरेश को एक दूसरे के प्रति बहुत अपनापन सा लगने लगा था।सुरेश को लगने लगा था कि बिंदु ही वो लड़की है जो उसकी लाइफ पार्टनर बनने के लायक है।और बिंदु को भी लगने लगा था कि सुरेश बहुत अच्छा लड़का है और उसका खयाल रख सकता है और जिंदगी भर के लिए उसके साथ रह सकता है उसको कभी धोका नहीं दे सकता।
सुरेश का दिल कहता था कि बिंदु को भी उसके बारे में यही महसूस हो रहा होगा।ऐसे में सुरेश ने हिम्मत करके बिंदु को अपने दिल कि बात बता दी और उसको पूछा,"बिंदु,क्या तुम मुझसे शादी करोगी?"बताया जाए तो सुरेश ने बिंदु को प्रपोज कर दिया।और क्या था बिंदु ने एक मिनट में "हां"बोल दिया।

उसके बाद बिंदु के पढ़ाई होते ही उन दोनों की शादी हो गई।
